An independent house replicating a home-like environment for close and supervised care. With the caring capacity of 18 elders, Vincent house is mindfully designed to enhance the quality of life of elders. The offering include long-term & short-term services that enable seniors to live meaningful lives.

Every resident has a diverse cultural background & brings along plenty of anecdotes to share. Some of them were born in the 1930’s and ‘40s in pre-partition India (cities like Karachi, Multan, Peshawar, Malakwal, Lakki Marwat, Mianwali, Sialkot, & Sargodha), and have explicit memories to share with the youngsters. Others love to share their fond memories of friends, families & gatherings and give us a taste of life from their plate of experience.

Coming from different corners of India, they speak multiple languages like Bengali, Punjabi, English & Hindi are the fluently-used modes of communication between our residents & team.

Seniors at our homes are highly educated having a Doctorate, double Master’s, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees in arts, commerce, science, journalism, and other branches of studies. Adding to these, they have had an excellent professional life holding prestigious designations such as Professor, Banker, Manager, Director, Engineer, Marketer, Painter, Businessperson, and have worked with the Government, Ministry, and various renowned multinational and Indian organizations. Some of our elderlies were homemakers from whom we get to learn a lot! One of our elderlies, an eminent social worker, was recognized for her work and awarded India’s third highest civilian honour, the Padma Bhushan! Our homes humbly abode gallant Colonels & Lt. Colonel from the Indian Armed forces.

Life at our homes passes by sharing every emotion, discussing politics, playing carrom, cards, singing, dancing, painting, embroidering, and doing several activities. Our residents have vivid hobbies. Some of our residents are wonderful artists, and proudly paint and display their art in our Epoch homes! They also like discussing spirituality, watching classic movies, and indulging in songs of the golden era by Rafi, Lata, Mukesh, Kishore, Suraiya. The radio life is still a way of living in our homes!

Even at the age of 80+, some of our residents love hosting parties in their Epoch homes, to which family friends and many of us are cordially invited. Most of the family members of our residents are located outside Gurgaon, in countries like the USA, UK, UAE, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Indonesia, and others. Watching them connect over video calls is heartwarming!

When the weather is pleasant, our residents prefer doing outings & get-togethers at the park. In pre-Covid times, they would usually prefer going to Gurgaon malls and having their fill of beverages, pastries, and buns at coffee shops. At times, after a doctor’s visit, they would club with the nursing team to enjoy pizza and soft drinks to go along with it.

It takes immense pleasure to see them altogether watching Ramayan, old classic movies, comedy shows, or cricket on Television. For every occasion & festivities, we celebrate, they dress up, contribute & participate with ceaseless energy & effulgent smiles!
